Heading up the Eisenhower Loop Trail |

The next several images show the ascent to the summit via the Eisenhower Loop Trail. The wind continuously swirled the clouds over the mountain, and visibility was limited. |

The cloud cover began to blow off as we took pics at the summit cairn. |

Miraculously, it cleared for about a minute as we toasted our ascent, although it didn't last long! |

We had momentary views as the clouds blew over the mountain... |

...but each clear view was quickly replaced by another cloud. |

We ate lunch at the summit, hoping that the clouds would clear. Our hopes were raised several times, but then a new bank of clouds would roll through. |
