We had a small GPCA group do some species monitoring and site management planning here. The primary species that we checked was Swamp Lousewort (Pedicularis lanceolata); this may be the only population remaining in Georgia. The population has expanded since I last checked it two years ago. These plants were just beginning to come into bloom, but there were many other fall flowers in bloom. September 11, 2024: |
