1 - Late April, 2024 I took a short two-hour walk late one afternoon up into the adjacent SNWA, looking for anything new or different.. |

I didn't find anything exciting botanically-speaking, but did come across this cool new little waterfall. I've always bypassed the little gorge here, taking an old logging road that passes above the steep slope, but today I glanced up from the bottom and noticed the falling water. |

This big Red Oak, while not a monster, was almost 4 ft diameter. |
