With leaves emerging and warm weather on the way, this was probably my last visit until next fall:

Cliffs

Spring wildflowers were emerging along the cliffs that I pass on the climb up to the crash site

Cliff

Pulleys_Roller
Piece of unidentified component with pulleys and roller
Probably from one of the control surfaces...

Unknown_part

I finally identified this part after finding a faint part number on the edge (below).
Part number 10023-1 is not listed in the Parts Catalog, but 10021-1
(Rear RH Wing Lift Strut Fairing Assy)
is, and it looks just like this.
Probably a later part revision.

I had found the fairing from the other side during an earlier exploration.

Mooring_arrow
Another mooring arrow, this one bent & broken
See page 3 for details of mooring arrows.

Control_surface_frame
Section of elevator frame
It took me several years to ID this component.   I was pretty sure it was part of one of the control surfaces.
One day I was closely examining some of the Manual illustrations and spotted this section of the elevator!
See next image.

Cast_metal
Broken piece of cast metal, with integral stiffeners.

Cast_metal

I have no idea what this cast metal component was...

Cable_connect
Cable - connector

Metal_Blob
Molten blob, about 18 inches long

Cable

Possibly an aileron or flap control pulley similar to one in next sketch.

Molten_part
Molten component(s)

Molten_part
Close-up, showing the part number
which I couldn't find in the Parts Catalog...
Googling that P/N, I came up with an aircraft Angle of Attack sensor, which could be coincidence.

EarthStar
Dried Earthstar fungi at the site.

See the Norseman History website for extensive information and history of this aircraft.
