Late Summer and Fall wildflowers from several locations in the Chunky Gal area, including Glade Gap & Riley Cove. 1 - Early August 2024 I made a quick stop by Glade Gap on my way back from a visit to Buck Creek. |

Mycetinis opacus A species of agaric fungus, this is a tiny marasmioid mushroom that grows on twigs and sticks. |

2 - Late August, 2024 After another afternoon visit to Buck Creek, I stopped by the lower end of Riley Cove. |

At first I wasn't sure what this was, but then realized it was Wood Betony (Pedicularis canadensis), gone to seed. |
