On my way home from the Fall 2023 GPCA Symposium, I stopped by this rock art site which I've been wanting to see for a while. The rock has become much covered by lichens and moss since it was last cleaned and mapped back around 2007. I arrived at mid afternoon, and after exploring the site, only had time to partially clean one of the three panels. These panels are on an almost vertical rock face over the creek, along with a series of footprints and cupules. The petroglyph design is unusual for this area. |
