After exploring an old homeplace & chimney below Suches, I stopped by this bog to see what was blooming. I knew that it was too late for the Helonias, and too early for the Sarracenia, but hoped to find some Lady's Slippers where I'd seen them in past years, and maybe some Larged Whorled Pogonias that had been reported here. Unfortunately, I found neither, although I may not have been looking in the right area for the Pogonias. May 1st, 2023: |
