Tassel Rue (Trautvetteria caroliniensis) |
|
Smooth Sumac (Rhus glabra) fruit cone |

In late July, twelve folks put in a good day's work at the Seeps. We performed woody stem reduction in priority areas, marked sensitive plant spots, and girdled and thinned some trees to allow daylight. |

We found some nice Swamp Milkweed (Asclepias incarnata) |

Glade Spurge (Euphorbia purpurea) - not in bloom It is very unusual to see this species this far south... |

An early August visit: |

Rat snake (Pantherophis spiloides) in undergrowth |

More St. John's Wort (Hypericum sp.) |
