My first 2024 visit was in late May, primarily to monitor the Platanthera herbiola.

Southern Tubercled Rein Orchid (Platanthera herbiola) I counted twelve plants this year, with five flowering stalks.

Two of these stalks (inside a hogwire cage) had been chewed off.

Round-leaf Sundew (Drosera rotundifolia) growing in a clump of moss.

Waxy Meadow-rue (Thalictrum amphibolum) (formerly Thalictrum revolutum)
Leather-flower, aka Vase-vine (Clematis Viorna)

A few images taken during a GPCA monitoring/planning session:

Grass Pink (Calopogon tuberosus)
A Haploa moth, of the Tiger Moth sub-family. Either Haploa lecontei, or H. clymene; there is so much variation in the two species that I couldn't decide from my one photo.
Great Spangled Fritillary (Speyeria cybele), on Wild Bergamot (Monarda fistulosa).

Foliage of Culver's Root (Veronicastrum virginicum)
It is not a tracked plant in Georgia, but it's certainly not common. This is the only occurrence that I know of in the northeastern corner of the state.
