I visited some spots at Glade Gap first, then went over to the east side of Buck Creek. Also went to Chestnut Br. for the Fraser's Sedge, but it was already bloomed out.

2 - A few days later...
I met with friends Scott B and Chris B, after Scott got off work, to show them a few of the sights here. I didn't take many pics since I had just been here a few days ago.

Phoebe nest While photographing the mine, we kept hearing a bird calling close by. It turns out that there was a nest built into the rock next to the mine entrance, and it was the mother scolding us. We quickly finished up and left them in peace.

After some exploring at Corundum Knob, I went down to the Barrens to see if the Yellow Fringed Orchids were blooming yet...
