Weeds! Our website includes many images of the wildflowers around our home, but I thought it interesting to observe the so-called "weed" flowers that appeared during the first spring in the disturbed areas around our house. Since this ground was a "blank slate" after its grading, many of these plants must have come from seeds in the grass & hay that was applied to prevent erosion on the graded slopes. |
