1 - Falls on Garrett Branch, Towns Co.

My friend Sheldon and I came across these falls in Feb. 2019
while looking for some historical ruins from the CCC days.

2 - Toccoa Falls, Stephens Co.

Toccoa_Falls
For this tall waterfall, I preferred a faster shutter speed

Toccoa_Falls
...over my usual slow shutter speed.
I think "bigger water" usually looks more powerful with a faster shutter.

6 - Quarry Falls, Rabun Co.

Quarry_Falls
This tall drop needs a good rainfall to look nice...

7 - Sea Creek Falls, Fannin Co.

Sea_Creek_Falls
We were hunting for old structures, and I didn't have my tripod or boots with me.   This shot was the
best I could do, while standing barefoot in 12 inches of freezing water, with the camera handheld.

Several months later, I was in the area again...
I still had no tripod with me, but climbed up on the rocks facing the falls and shot down.

8 - Falls on Bryant Creek, Cooper Creek WMA

Bryant_Crk_Falls
I really liked this relatively unknown waterfall...
There was a mill here in the 1800s, but I didn't see any remains...

9 - Falls on Snake Branch, White Co.

I was looking for an elusive Native American site, but didn't have any luck.   Saw lots of cascades and small falls
in the creek drainage where I was exploring, but the lighting was horrible for shooting waterfalls.   I didn't shoot
the two biggest falls I saw here, due to the lighting and the fact that they were mostly enclosed in rhododendron.

10 - Upper Falls on the Chattahoochee River

This is the first (most upstream) falls of any significance on the
Chattahoochee River.   The bright sun made for terrible photos...

11 - Second Falls on the Chattahoochee River

Once known as the Upper Falls on the Chattahoochee, prior to the Falls in the previous
images receiving wider awareness.   Sometimes referred to as Slot Falls or Chute Falls.

Second_Chattahoochee_Falls
The upper section of these falls drops through a slot, which is unusual in this area.
