Images from my first visit of 2019... Figuring that the Turk's Cap Lilies should be in good bloom, I headed up Ball Creek Rd to my favorite Lily site. I was immediately engulfed in a downpour, and it was over a half hour before I could get out and photograph. |

When Don H and I came across this orchid last year, it was well past its prime. Today it was at peak bloom, and I was glad to see it looking so well. |

Rock Harlequin (Capnoides sempervirens, formerly Corydalis sempervirens) I checked the "go to" location for these, but couldn't find a single plant with any blooms. At another location, I found just this one partly open flower, as well as other plants in bud. |
