The Alston Family Cemetery is a small burial place on an overgrown knoll near the old Mountain Scene community of Towns County. It contains three known graves, only one of which is identified by a carved stone. The other two graves are marked by plain field stones. This cemetery is on private property. |

One of the two field stone grave markers. This is the grave of either Euphan (Fannie) Wilson Alston (1807-1851), or Mrs. Henry {Long} Alston (1786 {or 1791}-1845), the mother of Charlie and Euphan. |

The other of the two field stone grave markers. This is the grave of either Euphan (Fannie) Wilson Alston (1807-1851), or Mrs. Henry {Long} Alston (1786 {or 1791}-1845), the mother of Charlie and Euphan. This grave was bordered by the remains of some timbers and handmade brick. |
